Marko Barakoski,

Founder + Artist

Marko was born and raised in Cambridge Ontario. He is an experienced private contractor, part-time English Teacher, and avid world traveller.

After several years working on various construction and building projects, Marko was confounded by the amount of waste that was being produced and thrown away.  This inspired him to start using this waste to create something meaningful. He began building sculptures and furniture as a means of redirecting the waste flows towards a better function.  His progress has led him to create MAS, which in time will hopefully change the way we look at refuse and recycling. Marko has a Bachelor’s degree in Europeans Studies and Art History from the University of Guelph.

We are looking forward to growing.  If you are interested in joining in any sort of capacity, send us an email through our contact page.
